Since graduating from the University of Miami Masters in Counseling & Therapy program, I’ve worked closely with individuals and couples, helping them identify and overcome life’s obstacles to set a path of presence, growth, and fulfillment.
When I’m not counseling clients, I am helping seniors and their families age gracefully with our unique, peer-to-peer companion services. I work closely with the Alzheimers Association, facilitating support groups designed for family caregivers of loved ones with Alzheimers and related dementias.
I take a person-first approach, meaning our struggles - ie depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, addiction - are experiences we have, they are not who we are. Taking these afflictions out of the driver’s seat and handing the wheel back to the client or the couple is part of the work.
